職稱英語考試中當(dāng)我們需要表達(dá)自己的吃驚，責(zé)備，意外等等要求或含義時(shí)，必須借助特定的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞及其常用句型，情態(tài)動(dòng)詞一般包括can、may、must、shall、would、need等詞及其相應(yīng)過去式形式，不同的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞僅僅變換一下時(shí)態(tài)，表達(dá)的含義可能就發(fā)生了變化。
幾個(gè)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞�？嫉木湫�
1.may/might （just） as well“不妨，最好”，與had better相近。例如： Since the flight was cancelled,you might as well go by train.
2.cannot/can't…too… “越……越好，怎么也不過分”。注意這個(gè)句型的變體cannot…over…。例如： You cannot be too careful when you drive a car. The final chapter covers organizational change and development. This subject cannot be overemphasized.
