　　Patient: I have had a cough for about two years. I paid no attention to it because I thought it was from smoking. Two weeks ago I caught a cold. Since then I have felt very weak and feverish. My temperature is always a little higher in the afternoon.

　　病人： 我已經(jīng)咳嗽兩年了。我沒有重視它而認為是和吸煙有關(guān)。兩周前我得了一次感冒，從此以后我感到疲乏無力而且有發(fā)熱感。我的提問在下午總是高一些。

　　Doctor: When you cough do you bring up any phlegm?

　　醫(yī)生： 你的咳嗽帶痰嗎？

　　Patient: Just a small amount, usually whitish. Occasionally I noticed some blood. This worried me .so I came to consult you.

　　病人： 只有少量白痰。偶爾我發(fā)現(xiàn)有少量血。這使我害怕了，所以我來找你。

　　Doctor: Blood in the sputum strongly indicates tuberculosis. We must take a chest X-ray.

　　Doctor: The X-ray suggests the likelihood of tuberculosis.

　　醫(yī)生： 胸片提示可能是結(jié)核。

　　Patient: Is it serious? Can I be cured?

　　病人： 病情嚴重嗎？能治好嗎？

　　Doctor: Don’t worry. Nowadays, even those advanced cases with proper treatment can be cured within six months. Drug treatment should be continued for two years, however.

　　Patient: When should I return?

　　病人： 我什么時候來復診？

　　Doctor: In about two months.
